What makes people think they can be saved by keeping the Law?

(1) Because people want to believe that salvation by grace through faith is to easy, so they try to keep the law.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
(2) Because people don't know how to divide their Bible. They read verses in the Book of James and don't know that those verses are written to the Nation of Israel and not the church. James 1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting. James 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
(3) Because they don't read what the Apostle Paul write to the church. Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Romans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

They (Law Keepers) Do not understand, for they either
have been lied too, or they misapply scripture by wrongly
dividing the Word of God!
